IJEBU FASHION WEEK 2013 was an integral part of the world famous OJUDE OBA FESTIVAL of IJEBU LAND.The event fondly called IJFW, this year edition was a 2 day event. The first day was a Street Fashion Show, which was done on some major roads in Ijebu Land. Second day,which was the OJUDE OBA DAY,was the Grand Finale and it was held at the Cathedral Church of Our Saviour Multi purpose Hall, Folagbade, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria. Which was tagged CULTURE MEETS RUNWAY, which attracted 500+ audience,among who are Ijebu Elites, Educationists, Fashionistats, Celebrities,Corporate Organization, Politicians and Religious Leaders. The Ijebu sons and daughters home and abroad that came in for the world famous socio - cultural festival "OJUDE OBA DAY" were also in attendance, they were oppotuned to see the new current trends that were being showcased by our indegious fashion professionals.This year edition had proved it standard again through its aim and objectives i.e giving opportunities to those that can not be able to participate and showcase their prowess in an international fashion shows/weeks around the world, also showcasing the area of fashion of the Ijebu people to the world through our indegious FASHION DESIGNERS, SHOE MAKERS, HAIR STYLITS, BEAUTICIANS, BEAD/JEWELRY MAKER etc. Achievers were celebrated, winners of each fashion categories were awarded, among who were OSHO GOLD as BEST DESIGNER OF THE YEAR 2013, HI - TECH SALON as BEST HAIR STYLIST OF THE YEAR 2013 and so on, each participant of this year edition were honoured with certificate of participation.
IJEBU FASHION WEEK 2013, showcased its award segment "IJEBU FASHION AWARD - IJFA" It was a meritorious award segment that celebrated those that have contributed to fashion and societal development of Ijebu Land. The awardees were nominated by the Ijebu people and the highest vote of each award categories were picked as winners.

IJEBU FASHION WEEK 2013
Ijebu Fashion week 2013 is an integral part of the famous Ojude Oba festival.The Ojude Oba festival is the most elaborate festivity among Ijebu people.It is a gathering of glamour, a form of carnival and festivity that has put Ijebu land in the world map of culture. There is no other celebration that pull sons and daughters of Ijebu land together more than the Ojude Oba festival.Ijebu Fashion week 2013 will be a 2 day event, the premiere of this event will be in segments;
The first day of the event which is the opening ceremony will be slated between 10am and 6pm and it will be tagged “Fashion to the Streets”. This will take place on some major streets in Ijebu-Ode and will be a runway show displaying the different facets, FASHION DESIGNERS, BEAUTICIANS, SHOE MAKERS, HAIR STYLISTS, MODELS etc, the runway shows and exhibition stand will be on mobile trucks.
The second day will be the grand finale and will be tagged “My culture, my fashion’’. This day will also involve runway shows and display of creativity. The runway will showcase varying facets of the fashion industry such as fashion designers, couture designers, hair stylists, beauticians, shoe makers, bead makers, bags and accessories makers, models, etc
Ijebu Fashion Week 2013 will host national and international media, dignitaries and personalities from all walks of life ranging from the corporate world to the entertainment industry. Moreover, presentations will be reviewed by fashion experts and participants’ products will be made available for purchase by interested invitees. We are pleased to announce that we now have a payment plan in place for interested fashion professionals and exhibitors wishing to particiapte in Ijebu Fashion Week 2013 taking place this October 16th - 17th 2013.

IJEBU FASHION WEEK 2012
IJEBU FASHION WEEK is created to be a platform of showcasing the potentials in area of fashion of the Ijebus to the world. It is an avenue for fashion professionals in Ijebu and its environs to invest their prowess and creativity in social and structural development in and around their community and the nation.
Ijebu fashion week is a 3day luxurious that will feature elaborate displays of classic and contemporary designer, creative exhibitions, runaway shows, workshop and orientation.
Each day of the event will be identified with its own theme tag and event.
DAY 1 PEACE MY NATION
First day of the event which will be the opening ceremony will be tagged “PEACE MY NATION” every facet of fashion will showcase their products/collections/brands in Nigeria National color combination i.e. GREEN AND WHITE. This is an avenue for fashion professionals promoting peace in Nigeria through fashion.
DAY 2 AFRICA INSPIRED
The second day will be tagged “AFRICA INSPIRED”, every facet of fashion will showcase their products/collections/brands with the touch of AFRICAN ORIGINALITY. This day will also feature fashion contest for every facet of fashion in which the best fashion designer, best model, best shoe maker, best beautician etc will be choosen.
DAY 3 STYLE THE CELEBRITIES
The third day which will be the “GRAND FINALE” will be tagged “STYLE THE CELEBRITIES”. This day will feature ten (10) dignitaries and celebrities in Nigeria being dressed and styled by the chosen fashion professionals. The celebrities are Papa Ajasco, Doris Simon Ademinokan, Kolade Onanuga K1, Aisha Abimbola, Yeye Ogunleye, Prof. Fadekemi Adagbada, Odunade Adekola, Yeye Odunnuga, Lateef Adedimeji, Ganiyu Ayinde S1.
EXHIBITION/FAIR
During the IJEBU FASHION WEEK, there will be a standing exhibition during the 3 days.
Participation exhibitors will be expected to display/showcase their fashion styles/collections/brands/products/designs/services produced.
These will include clothes, shoes, couture,belt, bags, jewelleries, texile, sofas, chairs, cottons, paintings, fabrics etc.
